Native Android
Production apps on MVVM and Clean Architecture — Jetpack, Room, WorkManager, Hilt, Coroutines and Flow. Firebase for auth, data and crash reporting, AdMob for revenue, and full Play Store release handling.
Islamabad, Pakistan — open for work
Shayan Gul — Android & Flutter developer and AI automation engineer. Seven apps live on Google Play with 1.7M+ combined downloads and 100,000+ active users. Four years of shipping, not prototyping — plus my own products: offline retail systems, an Urdu-capable PDF and OCR suite, and an open-source on-device AI library.
I take a feature from the first conversation to a signed release on the store, and I own what happens after it goes live.
Production apps on MVVM and Clean Architecture — Jetpack, Room, WorkManager, Hilt, Coroutines and Flow. Firebase for auth, data and crash reporting, AdMob for revenue, and full Play Store release handling.
One codebase for Android and iOS without the usual compromises: role-based enterprise systems, live dashboards, e-commerce checkout flows, and offline-tolerant data layers.
Agentic systems that carry out multi-step work — LLMs wired to real APIs and tools, with the error handling and guardrails that keep them usable once they leave the demo.
Products I designed and built end to end, and the consumer apps that carry the user numbers.
A complete PDF app that runs entirely on the device: no uploads, no subscription, no watermark stamped on your files. Built around Urdu support, which almost nothing else in this category handles properly.
Counter software for shops that cannot afford to stop when the internet does — billing, stock and credit ledgers that keep working offline and reconcile once the connection returns.
A single Flutter app that runs an entire organisation's internal operations — sales, warehouse and management working from the same data, with administrators controlling who sees what.
A complete shopping experience in Flutter: catalogue browsing, cart, checkout and order tracking, built to stay responsive on the mid-range Android devices most customers in this region carry.
A manufacturer of premium fiberglass pots, chairs, pillars and statues with no online presence. Built the full storefront and took the brand online for retail, B2B and export buyers.
A full clinic workflow for an ENT practice in Pakistan: patient registration, examination records, bilingual English/Urdu prescriptions, WhatsApp delivery, payments and a live analytics dashboard. It runs offline on the clinic PC as a portable Windows app.

Whether you need one app built properly or an extra pair of hands who already knows the terrain.
From idea to a signed release on the Play Store or App Store — architecture, development, testing and the store listing itself.
An existing codebase that crashes, drags or nobody wants to touch. I read it, tell you honestly what it needs, then fix it.
AI agents and pipelines that handle the repetitive parts of your operation, connected to the tools your team already uses.
Yes. I work remotely with clients across Pakistan, the Gulf and further afield, and I keep hours that overlap with your team.
One platform with deep hardware access: native Kotlin. Android and iOS on one budget and timeline: Flutter. Tell me what the app has to do and you get a straight recommendation, not the answer that suits me.
Regularly. I review the codebase first and tell you whether it is worth continuing or worth rewriting, with the reasoning behind it.
Send a message describing what you are building and roughly when you need it. You get a reply with scope, approach and timeline — no long discovery process before you know where you stand.
Fastest reply on WhatsApp. For roles, email works best — attach the job description and I will tell you straight away whether I am the right fit.
